Speaking to LFCTV, former Liverpool player Stephen Warnock tipped Harry Wilson to leave the club this summer.
Warnock said: “If Liverpool get an offer for Harry Wilson that matches a valuation that they think they can accept, I think he’ll go. I think it’s difficult for someone like Harry to look at Mane and Salah, can he break in front of them?…You can see from last year, consistently playing games at Derby was the biggest thing that he could do. Playing 40 games in a season is the best thing that you can have, knowing that you’re going to play week in, week out, not ‘I might play in five weeks’ time.”
These are interesting comments made by Warnock, especially to the club’s TV channel. We’d love to see Harry Wilson stay at the club. The youngster’s got a very bright future ahead of him and could save Liverpool a trip to the transfer market this summer.
Wales Online report that “Aston Villa remain the favourites to sign him – Sky Bet have listed Dean Smith’s side as the 5/2 favourites to secure the services of the winger, but a raft of other Premier League sides are now also been linked with a swoop for the 11-cap Welshman. Bournemouth, Leicester City and Wolves have also been credited with interest, as well as Graham Potter’s Brighton.”

If he is to move on this summer, we think it’ll be in a loan move to a Championship club, although the youngster’s got no shortage of potential suitors…
