By Luca Costello: @lfc.newshq

Alisson Becker: 6
Wasn’t involved in the game often due to a calf injury but made a sloppy pass early on.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 6
Was dangerous when attacking but wasn’t helping out in defensive areas.

Joe Gomez: 7
Was solid at CB but was caught slacking often.

Virgil Van Dijk: 8
Scored a bullet header and cleaned up any defensive errors but didn’t keep a clean sheet after a Teemu Pukki goal.

Andy Robertson: 7 Attacking and Defending for the Left-Back was reasonably solid.

Fabinho: 8
Cut out most passing lanes and got the ball back well and carried possession.

Jordan Henderson: 7
Had a thumping effort at Tim Krul which was saved and was energetic all round.

Georginio Wijnaldum: 6
Got played around for the most part by Norwich, but was tidy on the ball in areas.

Mohamed Salah: 9
Brilliant game for Mo, got himself a goal and was central to all of the good things that happened.

Roberto Firmino: 9
Lively on and off the ball and assisted Mo’s goal and nearly got himself a goal with a sweetly struck volley.

Divock Origi: 7
Had a decent game, his cross set up the own goal from Norwich but lost his feet slowly throughout.
